New Opening Times

The Orchard Ice Cream Parlour is delighted to announce its seasonal opening on Saturday 28th March, welcoming visitors just in time for the Easter holidays. The parlour will be open daily from 11am to 4pm, with the Easter opening period running until Sunday 12th April.

Following this, the parlour will reopen for the Whitsun holidays, operating from Saturday 23rd May through to Monday 31st May, again between 11am and 4pm. From Saturday 6th June, The Orchard Ice Cream Parlour will then be open every weekend, Saturday and Sunday, offering a perfect treat for those warm summer days.

During the school summer holidays, the parlour will extend its opening times, welcoming guests from Tuesday 20th July to Monday 6th September, daily from 11am to 4pm. Visitors can enjoy a wide selection of delicious Devonshire ice cream, perfect for cooling down and indulging in a sweet treat.

Plant Now for Home-Grown Christmas Potatoes!
Autumn seed potatoes are now in stock at Twenty Pence Garden Centre — and there’s no better time to get them in the ground!
We’re proud to offer Taylors seed potatoes, trusted by gardeners for their great quality and tasty results. By planting now, you’ll be on track to harvest delicious, home-grown potatoes just in time for your Christmas dinner — there’s nothing better than serving up spuds you’ve grown yourself!
Top Tips for Planting Autumn Seed Potatoes:
• Choose the right spot: Pick a sunny area with well-drained soil or use large containers if you’re short on space.
• Use fresh compost: If planting in containers, fill them with good-quality, fresh compost for the best results.
• Plant at the right depth: Place your seed potatoes about 10–15cm (4–6 inches) deep and around 30cm (12 inches) apart.
• Protect from frost: As temperatures drop, cover your plants with fleece, straw, or move containers to a sheltered spot to keep them
